    Outdoor time, without the risks.

Busy roads, territorial fights and theft are real dangers, with UK cat theft rising about 18% year on year.

Our DIY cat fence barrier turns your existing fence into a cat proof garden boundary so your cat enjoys the garden safely, like a full outdoor cat enclosure without needing a boxed pen.

    How it works

    60cm Overhang = Stops Escapes

Curious cats always test the fence top. The 60cm inward overhang on this cat proof fence top creates a tested and proven β€œceiling” that’s too wide to bridge.

    2.0m Height = Perfection

Most cats jump around 1.5m to 1.8m. Our bracket lifts a standard UK fence to 2.0m, making the boundary effectively cat proof while staying within typical UK fence height limits.

    • Mental health

Daily novelty and exploration help keep cats calm. A secure, cat proof garden adds safe scent, sound and movement. This enrichment lowers stress and channels curiosity into healthy behaviour.

    • Physical health

Outside means real movement cats don’t get indoors. Short bursts, climbs and balance work support healthier weight and joint mobility. Time in a safe, fenced garden adds natural light that helps anchor normal sleep–wake cycles.

    • Welfare and safety

A secure boundary gives outdoor benefits without free-roaming hazards. Cats express natural behaviours in a controlled, cat proof garden. You get a predictable, low-risk routine instead of nightly worry.

      Super easy install

      1. Assemble

Put the screw through the bracket, hook the net through the screws, then attach the saddle washer over the screws.

      2. Fix

Attach each bracket to your fence using basic hand tools. On timber posts, screw directly into the wood; on concrete fence posts, drill a small pilot hole and use the concrete plugs provided.

      3. Secure

Use the holes on the top of each bracket and the provided zip-ties to secure the net to the bracket. Along the bottom of the fence, use a stapler or suitable fixings to pin the net tight to your existing fence line.

      4. Repeat

Repeat steps 1-3 until your full garden perimeter is secure.

      FAQ

Will this cat fence system help keep other people’s cats out of my garden?

Cats typically won’t jump into a garden unless they can see an obvious way out. By creating a continuous cat proof fence top around your boundary, most visiting cats are less likely to bother coming in, because they can’t see an easy escape route.

How hard is the DIY install if I’m not very handy?

Installing on a wooden fence is super easy – anyone can do it. All you need is a 10mm spanner/screwdriver and a stapler. On concrete posts you’ll need a little more confidence to drill a pilot hole, but the concrete plugs are provided and the steps are straightforward.

Can I install this cat fence barrier on my own?

Yes. This system is designed for one-person install. Once you’ve got your tools and brackets laid out, you can work your way around the garden at your own pace.

How long does it take to cat proof a garden with this system?

It depends on the size and shape of your garden, but once you’re set up and ready to install, each bracket typically takes around 5–10 minutes, depending on whether you’re using power tools or hand tools. Smaller UK gardens are often done in an afternoon; larger spaces just take more brackets and time.

Can I use this cat fence system in a rented property?

Yes, but it’s worth being respectful. You can uninstall the brackets, then use wood or concrete filler plus some paint to fill the holes so the fence looks normal again. We recommend asking the property owner first and letting them know you intend to fill and tidy any holes when you leave.

What does the β€˜No-Escapes or money back’ guarantee actually cover?

If the system is properly installed and your cat can still escape, you’re eligible for a full refund for up to 90 days. We understand cats are curious and a typical 30-day return policy isn’t enough, which is why we offer a 90-day money back guarantee to give your cat plenty of chances to test the fence.
