        How it works

        Stops climb-out escapes

        Cats escape by climbing to the top edge and pulling over. Our 60cm inward overhang creates a wide inward “ceiling” that blocks that final move, they can’t get the leverage to climb past it.

        Adds height to stop jump-outs

        Jumping is the other escape route. The brackets lift a typical UK fence up to ~2.0m, so simple jump-outs aren’t a route anymore for most cats.

         
         

        How to install a cat fence on wooden, brick or concrete fences

        Do I need planning permission for a cat fence in the UK?

        In England, the simple rule is: over 2.0m (most boundaries) = planning permission, and over 1.0m next to a highway/footpath of a highway = planning permission. Scotland/Wales/NI have different systems, so don’t assume England rules copy across.
